What is an energy cleaning?<\/h2>\n

Energy is that invisible field that surrounds us<\/strong><\/em> and that is an indissoluble part of our body-spirit system, we can say that it is halfway<\/em><\/strong> between this and that.<\/p>\n

In the energy field we accumulate all the negative influences<\/em><\/strong> that we receive from the outside world or that we produce internally through thought, and which in turn affect our state of mind<\/em><\/strong> and our physical health.<\/p>\n

Keeping the energy space clean is a way to prevent <\/strong>the onset of processes that can lead to real diseases, and also a way to promote healing*<\/em><\/strong> when the illness has already manifested itself.<\/p>\n

After an energetic cleaning you feel lighter, more positive and open to life.<\/em><\/strong> If done regularly it is a real panacea for our health.<\/p>\n

When is it necessary to do it?<\/h2>\n

There are practices that would be good to do constantly<\/em><\/strong>, such as qi gong or yoga, others that can have weekly cadence<\/strong><\/em>, such as the shamanic drum or the circle of songs, others that can be done once a month<\/em><\/strong>, for example cleaning the environment (homes, jobs), or when needed.<\/p>\n

The cleanliness of the environment<\/em><\/strong>, although very underestimated, is of extreme importance, because the environment is the first factor of influence we suffer. <\/p>\n

Our background<\/h2>\n

Before delving so closely into the tradition of the indigenous people of the Amazon rainforest, we had had various experiences<\/em><\/strong> in various areas of spiritual research<\/em>.<\/strong><\/em> All this has not been lost, because throughout the world and throughout all eras every tradition has found its own ways to promote man’s well-being and spiritual evolution<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The shamanic drum<\/em><\/strong>, in example, is a tool foreign to the Amazonian culture, but the connection with the ancestral shamanism<\/em><\/strong> of the origins has awakened strongly in us at the moment when the doors of the spirit world have opened wide.<\/p>\n

At the same time practices such as yoga or qigong<\/em><\/strong> may seem very far from shamanism, instead our experience leads us increasingly to find the common matrices<\/em><\/strong> rather than the differences, in all energetic practices.<\/p>\n

Il Qi Gong, an ancient practice<\/h2>\n

Born in China probably more than 3,000 years ago<\/em>, the expression “Qi Gong” means “working with energy.” Early Eastern teachings have much in common with the practices of Amazonian shamans<\/strong><\/em>, because they both use energy as the basis of their healing system<\/strong><\/em>*. <\/p>\n

I practiced yoga for many years, but it was when I encountered Qi Gong (and coincidentally, I discovered it while I was in the Amazon dieting <\/strong><\/em>master plants) that everything fell into place; I had finally found a practice that combined physical training <\/em><\/strong>with the quality of work and energy <\/strong><\/em>that made it truly complete and effective<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Daily energetic hygiene<\/h2>\n

The practice of Qi Gong is a great way to keep our energy clean<\/strong><\/em>, protected and healthy, every day.<\/p>\n

It is now obvious in our culture that to be healthy we must maintain impeccable personal hygiene<\/em><\/strong>, but it is not so much about energy. It was in ancient China and will be in the future, I\u2019m sure. <\/p>\n

The Amazons curanderos take care of their energy by dieting master plants and smoking their sacred tobacco,<\/strong><\/em> mapacho;<\/em> they also use perfumes and ikaros (sacred chants). But we, at Sama Rao, like to integrate<\/em><\/strong> everything that the holistic wellness world offers us and that we consider valid. <\/p>\n

During our retreats into the wild<\/a>, when we introduce people to the practice of diet, we also teach some basic Qi Gong exercises,<\/strong><\/em> relevant to the processes of dieta, such as cleaning the field, protecting it, compacting it and listening to it.<\/p>\n
